Music

Julia grew up in the music scene of Verona, Italy.

Verona, being the home of The Arena, is rich in live concerts varying from classical, opera, pop and rock genres. This gave her the opportunity to attend many live shows of different genres, from a very young age.

During her teenage years she mainly listened to Classic Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Blues & Soul records.

She studied classical and acoustic guitar at Deborah Kooperman’s music school “Notorius”, and then electric jazz with Maestro Fabrizio Scrivano. She also took harmony and piano lessons, with pianist and Hammond organ player Bruno Marini. With time she gravitated more and more towards electric guitar and spent a lot of time improvising and getting lost in the music, particularly blues.

In 2023 she published her first two singles, “Hoogie Boogie” and “I’m A Womanin collaboration with great Hammond organ player and saxophonist Bruno Marini. These tracks are two instrumental records with a blues-rock flavor, recorded @The Factory Club, Verona. No overdubbing and no corrections, recorded live straight from the soul, in true blues spirit. A vintage ‘70s energy is what was chased in these recordings.

In 2025 she collaborated with latin american musicians Ingmarvey Gonzàlez (Panama) and Carlos David Cuesta Moran (Ex Buena Vista Social Club, Cuba) and in a Latin Rock quartet: Alma Mundi. Playing covers of Carlos Santana, Buena Vista Social Club and more. Her guitar’s electrifying energy, fused with the deep, traditional rhythms of Latin America, produced a sound that was both nostalgically familiar and excitingly fresh.

In 2026 after collaborating with sitar player Sitarvala, she published the EP “Electric Mantra”. In this EP, Julia’s electric guitar meets Sitarvala—a symbolic bridge to Indian culture and tradition.
Together, they create an electric yet meditative experience where modern psychedelia merges with ancient sound. The sonic palette blends blues-rock foundations with Indian classical influences, forming a living dialogue between East and West. Mantra chanting lies at the heart of the music. Through the voice, the sound enters a flow state, allowing the mantra to become both rhythm and meditation—revealing its inherent musicality and spiritual power. The result is a journey that is psychedelic, sacred, and emotionally immersive.

She played many live shows in Italy and a few in UK.

“The guitar is my first love” she says.

Being also a writer and photographer, she’s open to exploration and novelty, in all kinds of artistic expressions. “Working as a versatile artist could surprise you, let’s see what the future holds …” she says
